Intermittent latency increases

We are noticing a very small increase in error rates and increases in latency for a critical service. Users may experience this in build time or page load times being slightly longer, but we are not currently seeing any customer-facing issues. We are working on resolving the root cause.

Investigating possible issue with build timeouts

We are investigating an issue with builds taking a long time to complete. In the meantime, the CLI may timeout while awaiting the completion of the builds. We are actively working on a resolution to this issue.

Intermittent networking loading failures

Between 9:40am and 11:40am PDT, Chromatic observed an increase in network failures during builds. This may be responsible for some builds failing or resulting in spurious diffs. We believe this was caused by a change in our infrastructure on our end, and we have since reverted the change. We have since observed a decline in these errors and believe the issue has been resolved.

Maintenance work may cause intermittent disruption of service

The Chromatic web application and capture cloud will be intermittently unavailable on Sunday, July 9 between 15:00 and 19:00 UTC while we perform an internal migration. Interruptions in service, including failed builds, during the maintenance period should be expected. The work has been scheduled during low-volume hours, but we will make every possible effort at minimizing disruption to our customers while the work is completed.
