Build timeouts or failures

A subset of users may be experiencing build timeouts or failures. We are currently investigating the issue and are working towards a resolution. We will update this page when we have more information.

Failed to retrieve git information and time out errors

We recently received reports of timeout and related git errors for users using Chromatic CLI version 11.18.0.

We've since released an update that fixes the issue. If you're using Chromatic CLI version 11.18.0 and are experiencing issues, please update to 11.18.1.

If you continue to experience difficulties using the Chromatic CLI, please contact Chromatic support or contribute an issue to the GitHub repo.

For a short period, some builds were failing or hanging

For a short period starting about 20 minutes ago, some builds are failing or hanging and will eventually be timed out after 2 hours. Builds can safely be retried if you are noticing this in your project. We have already resolved the issue on our end and expect to see this behavior stop shortly.
